	one of the questions that i see coming: why 1280x960 
	instead of 1280x1024?

	well, this is an easy one: 1280x1024 is a strange format. 
	it is the only non 4:3 format, so scaling the image is 
	not really possible. with 1280x960 you can rescale the 
	image to all other resolution without distortions or cutting. 
	for 1280 x 1024 set your background to RGB 99 112 118. 
	please consider that rescaling still will cause a loss in 
	detail. the original image is in 1280x960, and it should 
	be, if possible, displayed that way.

	the title orginates from 'dreamland japan', a book about 
	manga and anime. it should resemble something like 
	'twodimensional fetish'.

	the japanese symbols were made in illustrator from an 
	illustration of 'comic underground japan'.

	yep, i know what you're thinking: misery is an otaku.
	well, maybe. i still don't know that much stuff, but 
	what i read and saw right now was pretty neat.
