My name is Wilhelm Steiner, i am a freelance graphic designer and illustrator located in Vienna, Austria
I have been involved in various fields, gaining some reputation with interfaces for musicplayers around the turn of the millenium.
after that i have been active in creating pretty dark artwork that i packed in wallpapers.
from that i moved into music related artwork, cd covers and flyers, creating countless releases for different major labels.
in the last year or so i have been focusing on apparel design.

I have been following your art for almost a decade now. If I remember correctly I first saw you when you were @ misery.subnet.at/. Just wanted to know where I can find all of your older work, wallpapers etc etc… They are legendary, classic… By far you are my favorite artist or however the fuck you want to put it… you have skills…. Keep them coming!!

I’ve been a fan since the misery in motion, circa 2000. Always couldn’t wait until a new image was created. Helped me a lot with Photoshop inspiration – great to see how the site and blog evolved. Good work man!

Hallo, ich war bestimmt schon 8 Jahre nicht mehr auf deiner Page, vll sogar mehr hehe. Aber damals haben mich schon deine Werke beeindruckt, ich hatte damals sämtliche Wallpaper von deaddreamer.com. Heute bin ich durch zufall wieder auf deine Seite gestossen, hab mich irgendwie dran erinnert hehe. Hast du deine Werke von damals nicht mehr online? Ich suche das Bild “gegengift” ich fand das soooo klasse. Ich würde mich freuen wenn du es wieder online stellen würdest. Eines der besten Wallpaper im Net (oh hab gerade subconscious als Hintergrund) WOW!! Wahnsinsbild!!! Respekt und Anerkennung für deine grandiose Arbeit!!

thanks for your comment! i knew about couple of stuff myself that people used, but thats basically the result if you put anything for free up on the internet – this also means people will use it for whatever they want to.
anyway, will let you know on this page when i will get a tshirt out that actually gets printed.

luckily my style has changed otherwise i would not make artwork anymore – with the photoshop/3d stuff i got myself into a corner and with the vector artwork i can do things that i would not have been able to archive otherwise!

I just bought my first shirt from teefury, because that Invaders Must Die shirt is great. Imho even better though is the Alice In Wonderland from the side art. Now how can I get that one?
thats a pickle so far – i’ve been trying to get it printed at some places (threadless, design by human) but no go so far. But since i also love the piece i will see that it gets printed somewhere – we’ll see
i think your work is awesome, i have learned a lot, also follow your work since several years ago, and still keep track of it, i will be more than happy to have the opportunity to work with you or at least have one of your T-shirts,
