Agents of the Apocalypse

i wanted for a while to do a piece with the four horsemen of the apocalypse, but i was somehow stuck and did not really know how to approach the idea.

After a while I had the idea to take the concept into the present, and imagine the four riders as people of today. In my opinion they would not need any horses anymore, they would be businesspeople, lawyers, politicians and scientists.

the four horsemen from left to right: death, pestilence, the antichrist and war.

One Of Us

i like this piece a lot.

Tough Luck

this piece has a couple of inspirations: roy lichtenstein, patrick nagel and medican culture.

i got interested in lucha libre masks and tried to make a piece working with it. i tried to make the artwork bold, but still ambiguious. the more i worked on it, the more i got a lichtenstein/nagel drift.

Big City Life

two years ago i moved from graz to vienna. i like it here and like with most things in life some things got better and some things got worse. ‘big city life’ somehow reflects some of these aspects with a crazy surreal twist.

Vector 99

no matter how big the obstacles, never give up. inspired by the awesome gunm graphic novels.

Croquet-Ground

new wonderland inspired piece.

Sky Commander

i found some priceless vintage book illustrations that i knew i had to do something with it – this is basically a collage out of many different elements and figures from different books, all around 100 – 150 years old. you can call the style vintage retro steam punk, if you like.

Extrapolated

new stuff. new style.
