another tshirt design, this time inspired by a radio report i heard while driving the car; it was after the wikileaks release of the diplomatic cables – one thing that i found really interesting was a remark that the moderator mentioned about how nowadays not only the big brother is looking down on the people, but the little brother (aka the people) are looking back.

and while we are at the topic of wikileaks: i can’t say why, but i am also somehow unsure about the whole thing. i do appreciate the idea, and i find it important, but at the same time i have to admit that there are some things i don’t like about it – can’t put my finger on it exactly what it is, though.

I hope you are not getting bored of my shirt submissions already. this one is a little different from my last ones.

so here is the rundown of my design ideas: the ships are how the iconic space invaders would look like if they entered the grid – i took most design idea from the recogniser ships, it seemed very fitting.

the tank should be a symbiosis of the space invader ground unit (whatever it is is pretty hard to recognise, basically its a paddle with a spike, lets say its a cannon), the tron tank and some elements from the tron lightcycles.

the figure itself is a mix beween the tron classic suit with some little elements from my scifi designs (i just love those dropshaped helmets).

i have submitted a new design for design by hümans, its for the conspiracy theorist inside you. i am really happy about the artwork, i tried a couple of new ways to do things and it worked out nicely.

as with my last shirt, this one got submitted for voting on design by hüman – if you don’t know the procedure, people can send their designs and visitors are able to vote on the designs – those with the most votes get printed.

i was thinking about making shirts for a while, so its a happy coincidence that zoran and gabi from public beta approached me with their inquiry. doing artwork for shirts is a tad different from my usual approach, so it was interesting to see if i can adjust to the requirements. all the design was done in adobe illustrator.
