Winamp Skins – Stuff from the Internet’s past

Oh my! I am digging up some old stuff that i already did about 100 internet years ago, my winamp skins from back when skinning was popular (roughly somewhere between 1997 – 1999). The winamp skinning scene was quite active and a fun community. There were a lot of famous skinners like Fli7e, Goran, Pordey, Sphere and lots of others whose names i unluckily already forgot.
Apart from my latest skin, n30n, none of them are for download – mainly because i made them when winamp 2.2 was out, so a couple of features are unsupported. if you really want to find them, i am sure you get them somewhere on the big wide web.

Weird… today is actually the first time I have been to this site since about 1999 and this is what I find… hahaha… I have been looking up old stuff too and remembered what awesome work you used to have. Great to see you’re still keeping it up.

N3on was my favorite skin since 2007 and I refuse to use anything else. I’m just glad I was able to reinstall it in 2010

Some of my later inspirations came from ddr|mim damned cool designs…to bad you don’t do skins anymore…But, if you ever come up with a design and don’t want to do the work…
get with me ddr I will give your skin idea the proper attention to detail it deserves.
i sometimes have the craving to do a skin again – but usually it only goes midway and then stops. the second thing is that i also already stopped winamp – yup, itunes won me over after a while. but anyway, thanks for the offer – i will gladly consider it
btw I was a decent skinner in those days as well, (thefusionbox) was a piss poor name though. Ice Fusion and similar.
I am using n3on skin even at this very moment.
What’s bugging me though is this:
If there is a mix long at least 100 mins (3 digits), when I click to change from elapsed to remaining time…there is only – xx:xx … and it should be – xxx:xx … is it possible to tweak it somehow ?

as far as i know this is a winamp limitation – only two digits for minutes and seconds
or to make it more precise: the minus takes the place of the third digit – not sure if a tweaking would be possible – best if oyu head over to http://www.winamp.com, maybe they have a solution for that.
Nope, not true.
Classic winamp skin displays -1xx:xx:xx (not sure if there could be a 2xx:xx:xx for instance coz there is not enough space for it – only 1, which is more than enough)
I also notice that eventually there is some room in the n3on skin to squeeze in a 1 (there is space between the ” – ” and the Xx:xx)
I’ve renamed the ext to rar and extracted it, but I have no idea how to tweak it (if possible) because there are 3 txt files while others are bmp.
